About this workshop
Implant dentistry can seem complex to beginners, with multiple decisions required before, during, and after implant placement. Implant Dentistry Made Simple is designed to provide dental students, interns, fresh graduates, and beginner dentists with a clear, practical foundation in modern implant dentistry. The course follows the complete journey of a straightforward implant case from diagnosis and treatment planning to implant placement and prosthetic restoration allowing participants to understand how each clinical decision influences the treatment. The program begins with case selection, radiographic and CBCT evaluation, implant positioning, and basic implant selection. Participants will then be introduced to the essential surgical principles, implant components, drilling sequence, surgical instrumentation, primary stability, and guided implant placement. The hands-on component translates these concepts into practical experience, allowing participants to practice implant osteotomy preparation and implant placement on a training model. The final part of the course introduces the prosthetic phase, including implant emergence profile, healing and prosthetic components, abutment selection, occlusion, and the fundamentals of implant-supported restoration. By the end of the course, participants will have a structured understanding of the complete implant workflow and a practical foundation from which to begin developing their skills in implant dentistry. One complete workflow. One practical experience. Your first step into implant dentistry.
